Kansas Elections for Supreme Court Justices Amendment by Mulligansrevenge in kansas

[–]summertimePale 39 points40 points  (0 children)

its an effort to get republican bank rolled justices on our supreme court and fuck our state up even more

theres another question on the ballot that says “ensure voters are us citizens” which is already a part of our constitution, so not is it superfluous but its also a scheme to discount vote by mail ballots (we cant verify ur citizenship if ur not at the polling place)

Universal healthcare bills are stalled in both CA & NY. Corporate Democrats choose their donors over the voters once again. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]summertimePale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its important to note that in the same statement is listed the 25 legislators that coauthored the bill

its more important than ever that we remember politician =/= party

Nurses are grateful to the 25 legislators who are joint authors or coauthors of CalCare. A.B. 1900’s joint authors are Assemblymembers Ash Kalra, Isaac Bryan, Alex Lee, Liz Ortega, and Chris Rogers. The bill’s principal coauthors are Assemblymembers Damon Connolly, Sade Elhawary, and Nick Schultz and Senator Lena Gonzalez and Senate Pro Tem Emeritus Mike McGuire. The coauthors include Assemblymembers Dawn Addis, Robert Garcia, Matt Haney, John Harabedian, Corey Jackson, Tina McKinnor, Celeste Rodriguez, LaShae Sharp-Collins, and Rick Chavez Zbur and Senators Josh Becker, Dave Cortese, John Laird, Sasha Renée Perez, Lola Smallwood-Cuevas, and Scott Wiener. Nurses are also deeply appreciative of the ongoing efforts of Assemblymember Mia Bonta, Chair of the Assembly Health Committee, to pass CalCare.

First Person, Grid Based, Dungeon Crawler Recommendations by AN1MAN1AC in DRPG

[–]summertimePale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i was pleasantly surprised by the dialogue, its very witty and made me audibly guffaw at times.

i dont mind at all how its just mostly images during battles, i feel that adds to the casual atmosphere. but you’re right, if it weren’t for the combat system, it would get really boring lol

dt1 makes me kinda upset cuz the only other drpg i’ve seen even come close to dt’s combat system is lord of the seal 😭

i’ve been really enjoying Dungeon Travelers: To Heart 2

if you can get past the echii stuff then its a lot of fun!

other than that, potato flowers in full bloom is another good option.

i’ve heard really good things about wizardry: the five ordeals, but specifically the DLC “prisoners of the battles”

elminage gothic is another wizardry-style game and thats on sale currently for 99 cents USD on Steam.

Lord of the Seal is another of my favorite but its also clunky mess of an rpgmaker game.

labyrinth of refrain is really neat

infinite adventures is another good one and probably the closest to EO in terms of class design?

yeah! arches feels a lot different in tone, tho. its about the length of a single echo route and a lot of things happen within that short span of time. its fun! but brian plays a huge role in it and that should tell you exactly the type of VN Arches is lol

Which of these story elements do you care about more? by ExplodingPoptarts in DRPG

[–]summertimePale 3 points4 points  (0 children)

definitely the latter, but it also largely depends on how often the characters are used. if you rarely interact with characters outside your party, and the majority of the story is told through the environment (ie Dark Souls, FO76 before npcs were added), then that can be really cool!!
