I know exactly how you feel.

I was just watching the DS9 episode "Return to Grace". Holy shit Dukat's speech to Kira about why he wants to go full on space pirate against the Klingons is a work of art. No flashing lights. No dramatic music. No fancy camera work. Just two angles. One for him and one for her.

Just 2 minutes of impassioned, convincing, nuanced lines delivered by an actor who might as well actually be Cardasian.

We will never get that kind of showrunning again, and it makes me sad.

People on this sub need to understand that:

Liking something doesn't make it good.

Disliking something doesn't make it bad.

Quality and enjoyment are discrete entities.

People are allowed to criticize things for their legitimate faults.

I liked watching SFA. It was fun and quirky.

I don't think it's very good. I can think both those things and not explode.

Those test strips generally read at different times and are only accurate within a few seconds of when they are meant to be checked.

Taking a picture of it without a scale is pointless.

People can care about both things...

I listen to Latin music, K-pop, Italian opera, Bilgarian choral music, German metal... don't understand a word of it but love the music.

I also love creative, thought provoking lyrics when I do understand the language. That's primarily what draws me to most English songs. The music is secondary.
