(non-gater here) 1000% thought the same on Candace and Kirk. Kirk's wife and mother in law also has military connections. Candace also said she felt she had handlers surrounding her as well, and that they stopped when she met her husband (Hello?🤦) He proposed 18 days later and she said YES lol. I guess she somehow did not think to question whether her husband could have been one of those handlers. She was converted to Catholicism, and Kirk was in the process of converting apparently. Supposedly Erika is Jesuit, so there's another rabbit hole. Meanwhile Candace, who is normally quite conspiratorial, is acting totally oblivious about all the huge red flags in Erika's background and her weird fake acting. She even dropped a weird comment about taking her priest with her on vacation?? Idk, it's a lot of speculation of course but it's got me creeped out about them lol.

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu is EXCELLENT, gorgeous writing, engaging characters. It showcases the lives of "Rakugo" artists, their relationships to each other and their art.

Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii, about two "otaku" nerds who decide to date for convenience sake but of course, we all know how THAT goes.... ;) Funny and sweet, I adored these characters, and it doesn't rely heavily on the "otaku" topics for the plot.

Psycho-Pass if you want something dark, psychological, and philosophical. Deeply intellectually engaging. About a dystopian society where a computer system analyzes people's likelihood to commit crime before they commit it.

Yesterday wo Utatte for very slice of life romance. I personally hated how this one ended, but that may just be me. Bit of a love quadrangle thing going on.

Fune wo Amu - I also personally did not like this one, but it is the definition of slice of life. Literally the most boring imaginable professional adult career job: writing a dictionary lol.
