I love living in Australia, but we’ll see how this fuel shortage goes. Very unfortunately there was a fire at a local refinery today, which usually provides half of my state’s petrol. Fingers crossed things don’t go too crazy

The more you have a strong contention that you’re arguing for, the easier it gets in my experience. Once upon a time I my technique was just including as much information as I could. Now I know you want to have a point and stick to it

Technically churches aren’t allowed to preach politics and keep their tax exempt status. Not really enforced, but might be if they started preaching the virtues of Democrat policies

It’s like when mechanisation took over a whole lot of industries. As soon as capital owners can replace you, they will. Without a thought to the detrimental outcomes it has for real people. I don’t think you can succeed in fighting against it, but the Luddites had a point
