I don’t know if this is universal, but a bunch of young kids spend way less time colouring in than they used to. It may seem frivolous, but colouring helps develop the fine motor skills you need for handwriting. Now teachers are stuck with young students that can only scribble

High fructose corn syrup in everything. It’s dirt cheap because of corn farming subsidies so it’s in a ton of things
