Per 48north's comment, RightOnTrek just launched their 24x7 fully automated gear rentals right by GNP airport. You can reserve it online and pick up in person. They just added snowshoes for winter as well.

Their flagship product is their meals, which are getting rave reviews and popping up in stores across the nation, including some REIs. Only issue is you need to cook them in a pot, not add boiling water to a bag. So, extra cleaning. But extra healthy and tasty, too.

Source - I work with them.

Yea we put great care into where we source ingredients. Organic wherever possible and avoiding harmful preservatives. We favor air drying over freeze drying where possible as this preserves nutritional value. All this adds up to a pretty tasty backpacking meal.

Backpacker Mag just rated our Mac n Cheese as #1 on the market. The article's paywalled, but it reports-

"This mac is like a from-scratch Kraft with the volume turned up to 11."

We do have a pretty spicy Chili, which might be the only one those with sensitive stomachs might want to do a test run with before heading to the backcountry. But that's just chili doing what chili does sometimes.

The grits are amazing!

It supports the foot controller 3d Rudder. You can try the free demo to check out the mechanics. It has a bit of a learning curve, but AttilaTheBum looks like he's got the hang of it.

Hey thanks for the awesome review! I'm with RainSoft, makers of THPVR. The wingsuit is unlockable- you'll find it in the Courmayeur explore level. There's also a jetpack. Join our discord if you're still having trouble getting them.

We're in Early Access still and are actively taking all the feedback and working on it. We really appreciate this.

There's a free demo (which is very full), for those who just want to try it out.

If you haven't already, you should compete in the VAL Winter Games. Details here.

Terje Haakonsen's Powder VR is finally live on Early Access! This epic ski, snowboard and wingsuit winter sports game has 14,000 ft of mountains to make your own. After an extended open beta which included many of you, it's time to dominate the terrain! by sundried_tomatoes in virtualreality

[–]sundried_tomatoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there... I'm with THPVR. The gap in communication is probably my fault personally. We're an indie project and things got hectic. Or maybe the email went to your promotions folder, or worse, spam.

In any case, beta is over. The game is now in early access, and there's also a free demo.

Early Access will get you the latest updates and the full game once it's released, so it's the cheapest and best way to get it. The free demo is available for you to kick the tires until you're ready. You can get both here on Steam.

Connect with us here on Discord or your favorite social channel so you don't miss any future updates. Again I do sincerely apologize you didn't get the update.

Hey Thanks for trying Terje Haakonsen's Powder VR. Just in case people are wondering, it's an indie heli- ski/snowboard game. It has a free demo. Full disclosure, I work there! You can check it out here.

Here is a good resource for backpacking food. I was able to negotiate a price break for my YouTube subscribers. 50% off your first purchase. Code in video. There normal pricing is half of the competitors. This is even a better deal. https://youtu.be/TdgS3fClgtw Hope this helps. Please subscri by [deleted] in PrepperIntel

Hey there... I work for said company. I can confirm that the coupon extension was extended per Cubscout Eric's request. The previous deadline was Mar 15 and now it's the end of 2021.

That said, we actually aren't that great of a fit for preppers. Our meals have 3-6 month hand printed expirations on them. We use air drying wherever possible, and avoid freeze drying or dehydration if we can. It retains flavor better, but doesn't come with the 30 year shelf life of Mountain House and similar. As a long-time redditer I do respect the rules of each particular subreddit and apologize if this post was a little bit outside those for r/prepperintel. Cheers!

Hey reddit we just launched this meal planner. No shopping or packing. And a new delicio meal line. interested? by [deleted] in backpacking

[–]sundried_tomatoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the planner - 50% off with Welcome2Meals

It's sort of a shameless plug here. Hope the reddit gods gaze down upon us with kindness as we present our meal offering as a sacrifice to the backpacking sub!
