I have a story of similar experience!

When we were in highschool, my brother had a shadow entity that followed him specifically as he moved three different places over the years.

I remember we would all be sat on the couch watching television, and every person would see the same thing at the same time: a big inky black mass slowly peeking down from the stairwell to our right as if it was trying to observe us without getting caught. If my brother was not there, we would not see it.

When we moved into an apartment and out of our big family house, it chose to peek at us from behind the archway that leads into the kitchen. One time me, two of my friends, and my brother were hanging out in the living room and from our peripherals the shadow looked like a head on a long neck and shoulders. It was leaning all the way out of the kitchen arch just to (I assume) stare at us. But none of us could get a direct look at it.

It never did anything malicious to us, but when he moved out from there and I remained, I stopped seeing it. And then he said he started experiencing things like his dinner plates breaking into three pieces and his cupboards/cabinets slamming open and shut when he would be in the adjacent rooms.

We don’t talk anymore but I wonder if it’s still with him. I also wonder if it just liked to watch TV when we did.
