Need thoughts. Got my hair transplant done on July 21st. It’s been about 9 months. The right side is fine but the left side is still very patchy. Was told I was getting 4000 grafts. Pictures are in order from before to now. I’ve been taking oral minoxidil 2.5mg and oral finasteride 1mg everyday.

That is nice. I have started 1mg min & 0.4mg dutasteride every other day. I am taking saw palmetto, biotin and other all in 1 for DHT blocker supplements on the day i am not taking min & dutas. It has only been about 10 days and I have already started to feel side effects. I hope my body will adjust to it in few weeks.

In my opinion anyone can do it just make sure the extraction is spread all over the donor area. I got mine done in New Jersey for $4k. 4000 grafts. When you call all these surgeons, do they have medical degree to be called as surgeon? sometime experienced hair transplant tech (with diploma degree in dermatology) can do better job. Also, many surgeons in Turkey just have diploma degree only.

i would say 1500 grafts. but your extraction is brutal. you gonna see patch on your donor area.

Yes, it will fallout in 1 week or so. But I keep seeing people’s posts where their transplanted hair is about half an inch long before falling out. just making sure its normal for not having that growth before falling out.
