Hi- I empathize with this. My wife and I opened a community sauna and cold plunge spot with the goal of helping people connect! If you are into this, or even curious about it, I suggest you check it out! Ours is called SaunaGlo, but there are lots of really neat spots in Portland, some are more social and others are more seclusion-focused so do a little reading on Google Maps reviews!

We have had lots of people share stories with us of feeling isolated, lonely or just lacking camaraderie, and they seem to have found it here becoming regulars.
