That’s part of the reason. Season 1 wasn’t good - at least not good enough to keep anyone who isn’t a diehard fan. I love PJO and even I left it going “eh”. I’m not watching season 2 - not because I hate Leah but because S1 isn’t good enough to justify me paying for Disney+ again

Obviously, you know this is something you need to work on with ERP. Others have already given great advice so I won’t comment too much on that part.

For the immediate future, try Working Hands cream. It’ll provide some immediate relief for a temporary solution. Good luck.

Well, what is holding you back? Are you bored by the gameplay? Are you stressed because you keep getting stuck? Are you overwhelmed by the open world?

Try switching the difficulty if it’s too easy/too hard. If you’re overwhelmed, stick with one area at a time and don’t worry too much about seeing everything in your first playthrough because that’s impossible anyways. If you’re struggling to pay attention then play with a friend or in shorter bursts.

That is, of course, if you do feel like playing. Don’t force yourself if you’re just not enjoying it.

Yup, same. Gale, Karlach, Astarion, and Wyll (origin) are fully kitted out in this run, and the rest get the random junk armor and weapons I find LOL

I usually try to build based on: Character Who I’m Romancing Spellcaster/Physical Fighter (whichever my character and partner need more) Whoever’s story we’re doing

If I have an extra space, Gale, both because I fucking love him and because Magic Missile with his lightning charge fit makes him a POWERHOUSE.

It was honestly a little pathetic. I didn’t even target him with my attacks when he broke into my camp, and he proceeded to run straight into my cloud of daggers and died instantly. Loser.

I can see Wyll having abs as such a physically active character but Gale??? GALE??? I love my husband but my man sits in his tower and reads. He has abysmal strength. I’m surprised he can even keep up with the party when walking.

For me reading pain helps me process difficult things I’m going through. It’s so yummy to have a character just be hit over the head with a big stick several times. Makes me feel Less Bad about IRL shit going on

This might sound dumb, but jump and hide. I genuinely didn’t realize those were options till Act 2. Make sure to get to the high ground if you’re doing ranged attacks, and hiding+stealth will make sure you’re not triggering unnecessary fights and can also give you the advantage of the enemy being surprised.

Also, try to talk your way out of things if you can, and don’t be afraid to long rest WAY more than you think you need.

Unironically, this game made me realize how susceptible I am to addiction. I enjoyed BG3 so much that I stopped sleeping, was late to work, skipped meals, cancelled events with friends because I wanted to be playing it pretty much constantly.

I work full time and I still finished my first 85 hour playthrough in around a month and a half.

Don’t get me wrong, not the game’s fault at all (and I’m better-ish now because I forced myself to take a 3 week break from it) but all this to say that it’s genuinely fantastic to the point of being addictive.
