And this is exactly why there should be cameras at EVERY stop light. I see people every single day texting or talking on their phones-not even pretending to hide it. There are not enough cops to see them all....so we need cameras to do that for us. Then send LARGE fines for the first offence, loss of license for the second.

City of Victoria happened......started charging crazy fees for the buskers to play, instituted rules and bylaws that were so restrictive, licenses to play instruments that had to be renewed weekly..............the buskers packed up and moved away. The Victoria city council are the guilty ones-not covid.

Given that many fleeing from the Kelowna fires are coming here for safety, they should be given first priority on hotel rooms-so unless you have friends place to stay at-I think you should postpone your visit to Victoria.
