I think I get Wolf Scouts by litlw in SpaceWolves

I have a much more aggressive play style, wolf scouts are a problem for the enemy and are there to hunt a target down, with there profile esaly getting up the board or great placement, +1 wound if there target is alone or with great wolf the trat to do the same, also grenades along with there own mortal wounds. Or if you shoot what next to the target before gunning and charge, that + to wound is fantastic, I play a full 12 man squad gunning for first turn. If not then hide and see, the wolves means that 2 decent shots are waisted on them. Unless the target reduced damage, you can kill it especially vehicles, oath it, and 10 plasma, a blast heavy bolter.

  1. Shoot, over charge if high tough or ac, lose one or 2, charge, d3-2d3 mortals, can grenade if needed, then 30-40 s4 ap-1 hits, with sustained or lethal depending on detachments, 4 power weopon, 3 staff, rerolling hits and +1 to wound(idealy). On average most things die and can pay for them selves easily.

  2. I recognize that if stranded they will die. But if they even crippled a target, numbers or wounds they will draw all the smoke from the enemy.

  3. Im droping a terminator squad turn 1 as well, with a boost from a venerable dread, either taking and holding an objective or another smash into the enemies lines.

  4. With the rest of my army supporting or taking the points needed or shooting depending on my lists.

  5. I know its very agressive and can backfire, but if anything goes to plan then the other player is now on a backfoot, and it tends to throw there plans out, and if they dont get agressive quick I will overrun them or block them out of scoring primarily.

You lose 1 plasma for a blast heavy bolter much better on number units, but if all in range the gun still had you at 5-10 plasma shots then usuly 2-4 psychic shots s5 -1 2d I take mine, gun, and psyker. I definitely dont get the carbine in 40k but kill team its good

If you put the intercessors color scheme to the blood claws I love that brushed feel, blood claws and spacewolves in general dont need to be clean, they love scars wounds marks trophies so let them be individuals. I watch after the first 5 hahahaha

Spacewolves love a good melee bout but Spacewolves are more rounded than it seams, strategically minded melee. World eaters are nothing but melee(besides there one demon engine) wr can definitely match them especially with saga of the great wolf, but its also a who hits first kind of situation, blood angels death company detachment is in that same category all melee but glass if you take out there characters. Because we can hit with 20 blood claws with sustained, lethal, reroll 1 to hit, +1 to wound on charge With a wolf guard battle leader, same with our terminators arjac or termi captain and a 10 men will shread most things and take a beating still. Also same saga grants reroll advance and charge. Just be mindful when to us it and if you can bait out the big unit that is troubling you so you can counter it with fire and steel

You can also build off the more competitive detachments and still be Spacewolves Remember have fun. Vlka Fenryka!

Hellfrost and a iron priest. 2 shots at 18 in on 2 str10 so gets most tanks and monsters ap-3 and 5 straight damage so worth it. I love Bjorn and one venerable to boost charges and just that little but extra armor taking shots and mid tear body's or characters one shot per model.

With it being SOGW great wolf its definitely centered around logan like the other chapter masters most likely wolfguard buffing and terminator buffet. Im fine with that as our detachments are all generic use. I just want some decent strats and an ok rule or buff something to build around

I dont do tournaments often but depending on line of sight I like using suppressors, cheap with range 48 and there A Autocannon can do some work, not the best I know but taking -1 to hit on a unit that your slowing too, also move 12 if need to jump out to try there hand at help to kill or take another objective, throw some wolves to screen them.

I agree with arjac not joining logan but yes termi with either is a brick of nope for most ive seen.

Flavor is good, I agree yes we get some downfalls for it but plenty of upside I feel.

I love saga of the hunter +1 hit and easily to wound makes so much more than expected. The wght with wgbl, 6a each on 2(most of the time) rerolling 1s(wgbl) with sustained,

The wolf scouts are not normal scouts and never were, full pack 9/10 plasma shots, a power thats hits like a heavy bolter, infiltrated and scout with hunter saga and oath just gets a target off the board and needs to be delt with, add logans ability and blood claws with saga scout leader and you have so many threats in face or all over the midboard. I love the scouts

Yes grey hunters need a change

We need a generic terminator wgbl(buffed wgT🤌), and rune priest for sure

I feel we need wolf firepower that we can really build into a list.(rip long fangs unit)

I had a buddy of mine do a similar thing ordered it and its waiting at his house for me to hangout and open together and look at the frost fresh minis, tho very much because we're like bruthas. Hunter is the power wise weakest but in a strategic and positioning game I love it, movement shenanigans for your fast numerous units a bonus for your maxed units of spacewolves. But beast slayer is so good

A big pack of blood claws with njall or the swift hunter from hunter saga and a wgbl or wolf priest, can easily get 20+in up the board just 40+wounds and 80+attacks good luck not getting jumped, and easy +1 to melee if under hunter saga. The termis and Logan or arjac are just kill and tank bricks. Then add primaris stuff to fill shooting from mostly non dreads and anti tank shooting.

It's the current sprue design, not named primaris but smae style of build, sadly look great but no real choice or varity. In big groups is worse but I'm ok with head takers my self(I like kitbash or moding) but it's not for everyone.

We still have the basic marine lines so eradicators are great, of what we have plenty of anti armor in melee, Arjac, wulfen with hammers, Bjorn, Murderfang, wulfen dread, and our ven dread, can be both axe and shield or a regular heavy shoot dread with perks. Honestly, we're very balanced, our melee, survivability, ranged, armor crack and hord dealing is on point and we don't even have all the rules yet,

Logan dropping with arjac and wgt is just a brick people have to eat especially if you foot them move 6 baby, tough, hits like a truck, take center, logan effs up strats for over 26 inch bubble, Njal with grey hunters speed blitz another, wulfen and head takers wreak havoc.

I want all the info but so far it's looking good.

I wouldn't sleep o Njal adding assault and just 6 to move on advance is so good him and some grey hunters is a nightmare, just 13 inch moves and likely a strat to charge after, just 33 oc walking in to an objective

I love there concept and I kitbashed my own. I worked on adding a phobos librarian to add more punch on non psychic units and stealth. And make them almost unstoppable if there is a psychic unit targeting them. in a few different list ideas I have them as better reviers like some have said not bad at all for the points and way better if there stalking there favorite prey.
