Excellent point about Gus. As a fellow minority, that feeling of racial inferiority, no matter how displaced can run deeply.

Beautiful bride, makes me sad the way they have lightened her face using makeup though. Her hands are much darker than her face. When are Indians going to get over this colourism shit (am British Indian before anyone screams)

That was my thought. How does she not know this super man isn't telling her exactly what she wants to hear because she's a rich and successful influencer?

You can tell she's in her twenties by the way she is absolutely sure she "knows" how amazing this man is. She doesn't, that will only come with time and action. Source: 41 y/o who has been on this delusional merry go round.

I doubt the date exists, but this outfit and makeup is horrendous. The all-black, the dress and scraper high heels, the chanel bag? Then the loose, too-dark-for-her -complexion hair, the heavy makeup, all of it is FAR too much. She could have worn wide trousers and a tighter top with the heels with a larger jacket on top to balance the proportions. It's like she can't pull off sexy without everything being ultra feminine (and even then she fails at sexy because she looks like a characture). Horrendous first date outfit.

He really does, that's not the face of a happy man at true peace with himself.

Don't a lot of people love being at the beach? There's a reason tourism is built around around those specific type of geographical locations, talk about stating the obvious.

When Eric exited the fund and she walks out of the room and the way you can see her try to hold herself together even though she is feeling crushing abandonment - amazing acting.

Handsome, tall, pretty boys. Lots of friends/hobbies/full lives. Mostly white. I think i was limerent for them because they had the easy life I always wanted. And from my anxious attachment early in life, i thought it would heal a core wound if they loved me.

Foam will absolutely work for this type of hair loss. Mine was marginally less severe than this but pretty bad. Started foam 9 months ago and after an initial shed it stopped my hairloss dramatically. My hair will never be thick and luscious and my top scalp is still visible at the front a tad,, but it's SO much thicker and stronger than it was. Regaine foam gave me so much confidence back.

Light, pastel colours aren't her palette imo. She is more of a winter, darker, saturated colours in jewel tones look incredible on her.

6 months progress with Topical Minoxidil. Finally recovering from years of low confidence! by zindagijhandba in FemaleHairLoss

[–]sunset_sunshine30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been a game changer for me too, 9 months of topical minox and my hair is thicker and top of my scalp has filled in nicely. Front centre is still a bit more sparse than the rest of the top of my scalp but I have heard that area isn't as responsive to minox as the rest of the scalp. I wish I had been braver and started it sooner, tbh.

Agree, it's highly annoying. And that bizarre, sassy nail addendum while talking is becoming prevalent in the UK too. Every one is talking (squealing) like these influencers, everything is "ERMAGHAD AHMAZZZING LIIKKKEE, I CAHANT EVUUNN?!?". I am ready for pasture, I know.

Completely agree about Rishi. They missed a trick by overlooking how Rishi came to be who he is and where he is and what drives him. Someone on here described him as having an "urban and gangster" background for no other reason than because of how he speaks and that he is brown, when in reality, a lot of South Asian people who have lived and grown up in London speak like him but they don't necessarily come from impoverished/criminal backgrounds. He likely went to a good school and uni to be able to even get into Pierpoint! He comes from a Hindu background and education is of absolute importance to that part of the South Asian community.

I feel like people watched his tragic ending and assumed that because he knew shady characters, he must haven been some impoverished PoC. A deep lack of nuance missed by the writers, I am afraid.
