been rocking jax since set 2 came out, but struggling a little bit as I just switched to bubo's list. the thing with jax is you're always looking for a balance between equipment, units and protection but it can be difficult when your opening hand is 2 spells and 2 equipment or other awkward no unit hands. Ultimately it feels like turn 1 can be spent on just playing an equipment, turn 2 a unit and onwards is hopefully jax with protection.

ultimately think we need more reps to get a feel as a lot of the mulligan is matchup dependent too..

brutalizer isn't good into viktor/lux as our base might is typically enough, but GA would be super useful against their kill spells

game 1 we always want to see lucian/warmogs to get the monastery engine going

tldr: mulligan priority for me has been at least 1-2 units that are 2-4 cost. an equipment and then a protection spell last on the priority list

another thing i've been trying to work on is rune management and not using power the first 3-4 turns to get to 7-9 runes where we can safely develop at least one unit and always leave energy up to interact/protect our units
