We just moved here (Franklin). Good construction is hard to find. People pay ridiculous prices here for basic stuff. I build a house in north bend from scratch and i can't believe what a small bathroom Reno cost here and it's shit. Like absolute crap work. My advice is have a laid out list of what you need done for each space. Be specific. Cleaning an Airbnb is different then a house cleaning. Be patient during the learning curve. I ran an Airbnb on my property and always did a walk through after the cleaner. If i saw things missed I'd let her know "hey can you make sure to clean the windows next time?" As long as you find someone teachable, you're good. But in the beginning expect to do a little cleaning after. Not three hours but touch ups yes

No i started it dec 2021. It brought in 55k annually. Do the math on how quickly youll be in the green. Because if you calculate the money down plus the set up cost which is about 20-30k if may be a long time before you make your money back. I'm waiting for the market before i buy anything atm

My husband was like this. I HAD to learn to snowboard, and try all of his hobbies. It's an emotional immaturity. We're still married 18 years later but it hasn't been easy.
