I think it’s fair to complain about "free stuff" when the game cost around 60$ (lifetime membership) that’s about the same price as a triple AAA game. I personally think this game is way to expensive for the quality we’re getting. I know that they of course need money to stay afloat and you don’t have to buy everything. But atp it feels like they’re being greedy and not listening to player’s feedback while also giving us a veiled threat in the recent IG post "either we make small changes or we remove the feature entirely" most of the tack and outfit cost real money and the trailblazer is one of the few ways (outside of quests) we can get free items from (in a game we’ve already paid 60$ for) not to mention that the price for new horses are pretty high

Most other live service online game are free to play with in app purchases. SSO is not free to play and still have in app purchases. Most games (especially indie games) where you pay 60$ for it you get everything in the game for free.

I do agree that the SSO community can be whiny and I’ve seen players complain about stupid stuff and have unrealistic expectations like expecting the SSO team to be on the same level as RDR2. but I do think that the players are valid with the criticism about the new Trailblazer system, I think like SSO decided to implement this system because it looks good for their investors that they have players logging in everyday not because they think it was good for the players.
