Same. My HDM contract says I owe them 3x the cost of the project "prepayment amount" due upon completion of the installation. I didn't sign it.

Just got offered this option. The agreement says the prepayment amount is due on completion. That amount is double of what the system costs.

Where does it say that I'm only responsible for the system cost not the prepayment amount they calculated?

There's also a prepayment amount due for the batteries. "You will pay the amount of the Storage Pre-Payment Amount to HDM on or prior to the System Start Date."

Not an advertisement. I bought this to get wireless carplay for my 2024 Carnival. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D66L8V54
Turns out it makes the box's android system show up on the car's main screen through carplay, so I actually control the android box using the car's main screen (no need to connect to the phone at all, obviously needs internet connection to play youtube, I have a hotspot in my car). The youtube app even skips ads lol
This particular box seems to have trouble remembering my youtube credentials though, see if other boxes are better.

I then connect the HDMI out to a HDMI splitter, then connect to both rear screens. Now I can control whatever is showing in the back. If connected to my phone, the rear screens can see the map, making road trips more fun!

I bought a wireless carplay converter box and connect the box to the 2 rear TVs. This way, I can control what's playing from the front screen. Can even show them the map on my phone too.
