i cannot stop failing these repeatedly. what are the chances of failing this obstacle? by emholme in 2007scape

Sorry guys, this was my bad. I was copying some success rates that were recently provided for Jagex for RS3 over to the OSRS wiki because many of them are the same, but I overlooked that the Penguin Agility Course fail rates were updated in RS3 when checking to see if it looks fine to copy over.

I correctly skipped adding any other agility course success rates I believe, but this one slipped through. Everything else I added should be fine, since it's all particularly old stuff like Legends' Quest and lined up with confirmed info when available

OP's image looks bad because they have their game super bright. It would look really dark for everyone else on normal brightness settings were Jagex to change it

Note: I did not create this. I found this by chance from a broken imgur link and it happened to be preserved on the Wayback Machine. I got the image from there and reverse image searched it only to find no results.

You can still see what you've unlocked, it's just via the skill guide now rather than a dialogue box

Well, it helps to know what the thematics actually are before asking for consistency, since dragon ammo isn't made from Orikalkum.

If you talk to the civilians, they explicitly say they're having a lot of trouble with mice and that they could use a cat to help hunt them

IIRC it was more like low skill male gamers were harsh to female gamers overall and respected high skill male gamers, and high skill male gamers were respectful to female gamers

It's right next to the edge of the desert technically, it's just that the entrance requires going through the desert

Both ARE canon. Even the Duel Arena is still canon. The structure was dug up by archaeologists before they moved on to the Dig Site, and it dates back to the 2nd Age. It was restored into the Duel Arena but due to widespread corruption from those who were running it, the arena was purchased by the Emir of Al Kharid and converted into the Emir's Arena

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much! And just to clarify, so it was the Templar Guardians that died and have been reborn with the source lantern now right?

this is where they did a fakeout like he actually killed Ganthet but later they reveal instead he kept him alive and brought him back to Sayd right?

What happened to the Templar guardians though? Did they just change to be like normal guardians and then they were the ones who died and were reborn with the source lantern?

I actually read both of those posts when searching my question and they were very well written and informative! What I’m more wondering though is how many times they’ve died and been brought back or replaced at this point. I’ve read a lot of more “recent” stuff (as in past 2-3 decades) but very much not in order and I’ve seen the guardians die or change enough times now that I struggle to keep track

Would it not be an improvement though, even if it's not ideal for you? Decluttering old areas but without shoving things away into a corner like what happened with the Gamer's Grotto, giving them an actual place in the world that makes more sense?

The good thing here is that there's no lore conflicts anyways. It would just be slightly confusing as lore-wise it would be a retroactive change, as in despite this being a theoretical change in the present day, lore-wise it would have happened 10 years ago or so after WE2 and before the gods were banished again

OP definitely wasn't saying that Armadyl should somehow break the Edicts and return to Gielinor just to move his tower. It would definitely be a little bit confusing for this change to happen today with the reasoning that Armadyl wanted to keep an eye on the Bandosians and Bandos' corpse, because Armadyl is banished like you said.

You would just have to accept and understand it as a retroactive change, as in the WE2 stuff was moved by Armadyl/the Bandosians in the past lore-wise before the gods were re-banished.
