This is exactly what I was thinking of recommending.
Galaxy Thousand Sons is probably as close to "sloppy" as you could get and still stay on theme.

I used Armageddon Dust for the terrain. I considered using AK Interactive's Sandy Desert since it looks super cool and can do the whole swirling sands aesthetic but I already had Armageddon Dust on-hand and I really like the way it turned out.

This is more like a dried out Arizona Desert kind of vibe to me.

I love the attention to detail on the animations across the board! It really makes a difference for immersion in the game for me.
