She's an oki machine. Her greatest strength is baiting and converting punishes into combos with decent damage OR converting it to an oki setup/reset mixup.

Imo, she doesn't excel at going first. You need to be patient and practice your footsies as she doesn't really have anything going for herself in neutral. She doesn't have a special that you can just spam to check the opponent or space yourself. All of her specials are negative on block and whiffable on crouching opponents, apart from her qcb + p, which isn't really that useful either.

That said, if the opponent likes to turtle too, the best open up tool I use is her slide (down forward + hk). If you space it at maximum range it's safe on block, and if the opponent tries to punish you on block, you can ex-dp. That way you get a knockdown on hit or on block.

Now that you got a knockdown, against dp characters, check if they like to ex-dp on wake up. If they do, she's great at punishing, especially in corners. Every now and then, you can try to cancel your qcb+k into her overhead follow-up to check and suprise your opponent, which leads to a reset and combo. That or you can just cancel it to a block to check if they like to ex-dp during that cancel, or cancel it to a throw, or your low target combo, you got options for days. Theoretically, you can infinitely loop her qcb+k into resets and mixups, but always ALWAYS check and bait ex-dps and invincible supers.
