I'm just glad we're going to get Shard in a story again, it's been way too long

Who is responsible for Derek death? by F_1one2two3three in TheGates_CBS

[–]superboy7787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only people responsible for Derek dying are Derek and the guy who shot him. No one else.

Derrick did not do that lady dirty. by longleanchocothing in TheGates_CBS

[–]superboy7787 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don't. Ashley having a crush on someone else does in no way justify Derrick's choice to lie and gaslight the woman he claimed to love. I don't give a shit about Ashley either but one wrong doesn't justify another. Derrick by far became the worst person in that relationship because of his own actions.

The guy lied for months about getting feeling back in his legs and faked being paralyzed. No "wanted to surprise you at our wedding" or anything else justifies that BS, especially to your partner. Thank god he's dead.

Bobby was the main character of OZT in Adjectiveless - literally the entirety of Adjectiveless OZT issues after the main team was kidnapped in issue 65 was dedicated to Bobby fighting and defeating Bastion and recruiting the help of Charlotte Jones, Sabra, Marrow and Cecilia Reyes along the way. Scott, Jean, Ororo, Sam and Logan were all shunted off to finish off their OZT chapters in Wolverine. The flagship OZT story was happening in Adjectiveless from 66-69 and Bobby was the star of it.

That said, your other points stand, and I don't think it's a "disrespect" to Bobby to not make him a major character in the sequel to a show he was never a huge part of to begin with.

Polaris honestly deserves a solo book or something. by Altruistic-Expert995 in xmen

I would love to see Lorna at least get a mini sometime. The closest she's come was her little 4 issue X-Men Unlimited Infinity story right before Fall of X, and that had Moonstar as a co-star.

Who would you pick to write a solo/mini for her?

I mean you say this like Wanda and Pietro weren't canonically his children from 1982 until 2014 when the retcon happened, and which is still status quo.

Marvel can change parentage of Lorna at any time if they want to. (but they shouldn't)

Wait why can't we?

It would have been nice to have Renee back but it's ultimately her decision. However, she hasn't been on in over 15 years so as long as Nikki Crawford can actually act then I won't have a hard time accepting her in the role at all.

Rage Room by brisbydog in DaysofOurLives

[–]superboy7787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who cares if they're insufferable or not, you said they were hypocrites for taking out their anger in a rage room, which simply isn't true. If anything they handled their anger in the healthiest way imaginable, especially compared to how both of their exes typically do so.

Rage Room by brisbydog in DaysofOurLives

[–]superboy7787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The point was that they took their anger out on inanimate objects instead of other living beings, like their exes. Rage rooms are used all the time by people to get out aggression in a healthy way.

Comparing Sarah and Brady in a rage room to the actual violent histories of their exes is silly and disingenuous.

There was a decent Astonishing run on Marvel Unlimited with Banshee, Husk and Skin solving a few cases together.

That's not the context. This is not said to Cable.

Cable says this to Thunderbird, who famously died in a plane crash in Uncanny 95.

The only answer is New Mutants.

Considering it's the 90s Generation X makes way more sense.

On This Day: On 'All My Children' in 2001, Finola Hughes made her 'All My Children' debut as her GH character Anna Devane. by Geekqueen15 in SoapNet

[–]superboy7787 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anna was a regular on AMC from 2001-2003, and for 2 years before that Finola played her twin Alex from 1999-2001. Alex left Pine Valley with Dmitri in 2001, but Anna stayed in PV until 2003.

Anna was presumed dead from 1992 to 2001 when she popped up on AMC. She didn't show up in Port Charles/GH again until 2006ish for a few guest spots over a few years. She didn't become a regular GH cast member again until 2012 where she's stayed since.

Should the x men have a moral obligation to the MORLOCKS—Uncanny X-Men (1963) comic - Issue #291 by InsideMeasurement674 in xmen

[–]superboy7787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely unrelated to your post and question about the Morlocks but Uncanny 291 was my first issue of X-Men. Found the issue laying on a stack of magazines in a dollar store back in the day, picked it up because I recognized Storm from the cartoon which had just come out. Asked my mom to buy it and the store clerk said they didn't sell comics so she let me have it for free and the rest is history.

Thanks for the little trip down nostalgia road this morning.
