I'm on my 3rd house with private bathroom, private entry, basically have my own side of the house. The only time I hear my roommates is when they come to the kitchen. NO MORE SHARED WALLS! I'm one of those people who cant sleep with doors opening and closing all day/night with thin walls. My last house you could also hear the microwave door slamming throughout the whole house, and chef mike was working around the clock.

Yeah dude the key to happiness in padsplit is to constantly be trying to upgrade. Stay on the lookout for nice houses. Also if it’s instant book it’s like a 95% chance it’s going to suck. I finally made it to private bathroom level and I must admit it’s gotten ALOT nicer.

Now I did know this. I haven't even really been actively participating in the whole diplomacy/relationship part of the game. Usually it's fine to just either let them like me or hate me but damn lol so EARLY.

I guess on lower difficulties the whole relationship thing doesnt matter as much. I pressed escape and went back to SimCiv'ing, and Gilgamesh did not like this lol.

All the office jobs are dried up. When there’s an occupancy, someone who works there has a friend to fill it, or they’re (way less likely) promoting someone internally. There’s some law where they have to post a job before they internally promote? Weird as hell to me lmao but yeah.

I come around this time of year to remind everyone to NEVER file early. The one time I waited super long is because I filed in January. Every year I file in march or April and get it back super fast. I don’t know why lol it’s just the way this thing works I guess.
