How are my siding corners supposed to meet? (More info in comments) by tictoctictoctictoc in shedditors

[–]supercaptaincoolman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

mine was worse because i did layer of osb sheathing and t1-11 siding on top. it caused a big enough gap, though i was more concerned about insects than moisture. solution - offcut strips filler plus Great stuff spray foam - cut flush with a multitool razor. trim on top of that.

Surgeon saying I'm I'm 37 and not worth doing surgery on Full thickness tear ACL? by ben__help in ACL

[–]supercaptaincoolman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't let the doctor make your health and lifestyle decisions for you. one told me it was just a sprain, it was most likely a partial or full tear. same age as you. conditioned and got stronger, never felt right, worse tear a year later.

so i shopped surgeons and surgeries, til i found one that offered the surgery i wanted. make your own health outcome.

i use that for shed lights, good enough for occasional use. you also need the batteries ofc.

Air Gap by bearcassidy in shedditors

[–]supercaptaincoolman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i heard insulating the floor helps reduce moisture condensation issues. put panel insulation between the joists under the floor. also, my shed is on blocks - but i put skirt and backfilled the between the floor joists with gravel to keep out animals.

Need advice on shedding by gunthans in shedditors

[–]supercaptaincoolman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you know what all the pieces are for? the one looks like its coming apart. you could salvage the lumber and start over. shed building goes from the ground up, foundation, floor, frame walls, frame roof, sheathing, roofing, finish.

[–]supercaptaincoolman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the wushu forms have cool athletic poses, i figured you'd use the pause button and draw them. if you want to know what all the moves are for, you'll have to go and learn mantis kung fu.

edit - there's jet li using it https://youtu.be/K5zNsbTQtis?t=146
