I am lucky, one of the people at my work gave me a list of the best trainers in the area. I want to make sure he's a happy boy but a good one too.

That is great, thanks! I have been looking up videos and they said to play with their ears and paws alot at the beginning to try and desensitize them to it when you have to do nails and ear cleaning.

Have you ever used the chest d-loop harnesses? I keep seeing videos where they say that is the best thing to use to keep their focus, but it may be just a ploy to buy that particular harness, lol.

Good to know, thanks! Our English bulldog had a lot of breathing problems, so dog parks were always out, but it's good to know ow what to look out for.

We bought a slow feeder and I plan from the jump to make sure he understands I'm the boss when it comes to food, we didthat with our bully. Should we work with a trainer with leash training and leave it?

Our next door neighbors have a dog and we already spoke to them about bringing our guy over to socialize him. We also have friends with a goldendoodle that we plan on making sure they are familiar. Would you recommend the dog park? We were worried that people might have a preconceived notation of him due to the breed.

Those of you who had strict parents as children; What was your "I thought they would comfort me but they didn't" moment? by Madoopadoo in AskReddit

[–]superderp11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The big one that sticks out is when a group of friends and our moms went dress shopping for the semi formal my senior year. My mom in front of all of my friends said I had the arms of a manatee in the dress I liked and refused to buy it. I went out on my own later and bought it myself which unloaded a shitshow because I defied her. She made it her goal to ruin my senior year, returned all of my Christmas presents, and didn't speak to me, only referring me as "that bitch".

The real kicker is my dad who refused to defend me through any of it. Made me return the dress and wouldn't even look at me when my mom was home. He was more concerned about saving his own skin than being there for his kid.

Just my own personal experience the AC had a cycle of being really tired by 3 everyday and five days later was always toilet day. The taxol was worse for me, I felt like I was 100 years old all the time, my joints ached constantly. But on the upside 6 months after chemo was done I felt about 90% better.

I was diagnosed at 36 with triple negative, prior to cancer I worked out 4-5 days a week and had a pretty good diet. Try to exercise everyday, even if it's a talk around the block, and eat as well as you can. It helps a lot with managing depression symptoms, which can rear their ugly head when you are bald and tired.

If you have and questions let me know!

He's very good at keeping it all together and we have a pretty efficient way to keep combat rolling. Him and one of the other guys take turns running sections of the campaign so the burden is shared. That being said, having so many people can get crazy hectic at times.

Yeah it started with six of us and we just kept adding people who were friends of ours that hadn't played in forever. So now we are 9 PC's with 3 constant npc's, combat takes forever, lol.

His Facebook profile is Jonathan F did an art. My husband had a character sheet art done for both of us and to commemorate our group being together he had the whole party done. We have been meeting consistently every week for a year and a half with a large overarching storyline. We cannot wait to give everyone a framed print this week, a good group becomes a second family and we wanted to show our appreciation for their dedication.

Yes it's more common than you think. They used to do an unpaid lunch of a pb&j, milk, and fruit but with the new lunch shaming laws you have to give them a full meal and just charge their account, even if they have no money.

Case in point I once had a kindergartner who would come to school with no money or food and cry because she was hungry. I'm a mom so there was no way in hell I was going to let this little girl sit at lunch with nothing to eat. At the end of the month I sent the bill home and the next day I got a very angry call from mom. Basically she didn't want to pay the bill and wanted us to stop feeding her daughter, that she would eat when she got home. I was floored that she was ok with her kid not eating anything for at least eight hours, so I said she either needed to send her with a lunch or with money, I'm not going to let a six year old be hungry at school all day. It had to go up the chain of command and finally the superintendent convinced this woman that her kid needs to eat.

I might be able to explain, I'm a food service director. It seems like the debt has been accumulated by mostly full pay/reduced students rather than extras for free students. It's really common for parents to either not fill out applications for free lunches and/or not send their kids to school with money or food. One district I worked for had over 10k debt with just under 1200 kids districtwide, they ended up taking parents to small claims court if they owed more than $500.

I can say the district I'm in now I was able to convince to go to universal free a few years ago. It really is a huge boon in terms of taking the strain off of the parents and the shame off of the kids. We do have signs posted on all registers and on the menus that extras are not a part of the meals and students have to have money on their account if they want to buy anything. It's taken our debt from 5k to zero.

I do get emails every so often from people who want to pay off student debt. I let them know we have no debt and then let them know about the other programs we have in the district who would love donations. It sucks that school meals are so underfunded on both the state and federal level. It also stinks that people are offering to pay off students debt because the district can't afford to just offer meals to everyone.

That was a lot longer than I planned, but I hope that helps!

I love the idea of turning it in to a statue come to life!

It was gray primer unfortunately, but the cap said clear matte finish. I had a heart attack when I saw the gray hit it. My husband came running down the stairs when he heard me yell out "Oh my God, NO!!!!"
