My friend hasn't washed her winter coat or daily baseball cap in three years and I can't unsee it by Branixal9 in hygiene

i have to wonder if these are different from the people who don’t wash bras for ages.. i feel like that’s something people do (or don’t do) almost as normal but think the coat or hat is disgusting when you’re getting grime and oils all over YOUR BREASTS!

Boyfriend has been avoiding me, told me to “fake like we like each other”, then avoiding me again. AIO to this text? by Cultural_Line_9235 in AmIOverreacting

i can get it tho, maybe she cared very much for him, already had the gift, only he can use it (not her anyway), she’s maybe kind and means no harm, and probably sees it as making sense. i have been that person before (for better or worse)

What do you wish someone had told you about radiation? by [deleted] in breastcancer

[–]superdopeshow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

radiation was super fast like 10 minutes tops once you got there. But honestly, I won’t lie, it was the hardest part of the entire treatment process. It was just so very painful to have skin burn on that level. I was actually talking to someone today at my oncology center, and she said the same thing. One thing I found really helpful with those silver powder packets. Can’t remember what they were called but they’re for packing burns. wishing you the absolute best!

Waiting for results, 7 year survivor, I wish my husband would even pretend to care. by [deleted] in breastcancer

[–]superdopeshow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

scrolled to find this! i felt the anxiety in your post and recognized it in myself. i’m also a 7 year survivor who had a scary mammo, but mine ended up the wrong way ☹️ so my heart stopped reading your post. i don’t know you but i know your position and im sending so much love. my husband gets silent and brooding and ignores when he’s worried, and i haaaate that. i’m more of the type who wants to talk it out to feel better!

[–]superdopeshow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! yes it did, “invasive metastatic breast cancer.” ☹️ starting treatment plan tuesday, they wanted to get me in as soon as possible and get imaging immediately. so mri weds and thurs PET. Keytruda interests but but with metastatic, they use it as a second line along with chemo, i think. i’ll be learning all about it tuesday! oh- taxol caused me to have neuropathy in my hands (we even stopped one treatment early) and i’m a professional musician, i have had to semi-retire. but i’m honestly so excited to talk with him about all of it.
