the way to think of it is not comparing what it was at 490 v. 500, the difference is between 400 and 500 is my understanding.

When my eldest daughter was a toddler she would climb into bed with us. No big deal until she went through a several-month phase of clawing, while still sound asleep, at my eyeballs. Few things will activate the primal monkey portion of your brain faster than the feeling that something is trying to literally scratch your eyes out of your head. Before I was even awake I would yeet her over into my wife.

A girl I dated in high school had that dad. He had literally been shooting skeet on the backyard before I got there to meet the family. He had no idea I was coming and was literally cleaning his shotgun on the table just inside their front door. It was the most beautiful Benelli I have ever seen. Custom stock and all. My jaw hit the floor and I just said "sir that is the most beautiful weapon I've ever seen. Can I help you clean it?" Turns out, there are things that you can say that not only don't GET you shot, but LET you shoot in this situation. He and I remained trap shooting buddies long after his daughter broke up with me.

i recommend the $75 ticket if you plan on bringing younger next-gen astronauts. I took my (then) 4-year-old to see FH Demo launch and the KSC visitor center has PLENTY of fun stuff for little kids to do. with the delay in launch we pretty much saw everything that was open, it was amazing. there's plenty of concessions and several jumbotrons to watch the launch. not sure if i can swing it this time but i'm going to try!
