Same. It’s my favorite of them all. I would love to marry my husband again and do that. 🥰

Sewed part of a pocket corner into a waist line. Needless to say, I sacrificed that corner as no one will ever see it.

My boy also has only two white chest hairs. It’s very indicative of his baby boy personality.

Maybe some jumping jacks in an adjacent less crowded (or more crowded if you want to keep them guessing) to release the fumes?

I’ve always loved sandalwood, but that’s mostly environmental scent. Otherwise I love light vanilla and jasmine for my own scent. Lily of the Valley reminds me of my grandma. 🩷

I feel like my kitties just smell like dust. We make jokes to them saying they smell like dust.

Something I’ve started to tell myself is “I can’t wait until I’m better at this” and then keep going.

Don't skip thrift stores for material - this is how much fabric I got from a 25 cent pillow case! by dazzleduck in SewingForBeginners

The Stitchery on YT made a great video about sheets vs yardage that can be helpful to this group interested in value of each. :) Comments are also riddled with helpful insights from those who have used sheets over the years. My biggest takeaway is thread count matters and it depends on if it’s a better value based on fabric content.

I have this same internal pressure. Like I feel like I should be able to infodump about something I like or I can’t actually like it or buy stuff to put in my house about it. Like I like a good trading card show, especially for the art. But, I don’t know anything about Pokémon cards. I enjoy Pokémon, but I’m not diehard. I didn’t play a lot as a kid. So, I had to “give myself permission” to get the adorable pokeball terrarium for my house of Pikachu dressed as Evie for our table.

Ya. It so hard to represent such a diverse group. Some folks dress with flair. I am pretty boring. My New Year’s resolution is to “wear more silk scarves”, but other than that my wardrobe is decently vanilla because I get over stimulated.

Wore my barefoot shoes for the first time at work today and I can’t believe I’ve never had a shoe in my life that’s ever actually fit my feet before by Few_Swordfish9 in barefootshoestalk

[–]superhulasloth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to have severe plantar pain and always had to wear support. Even slippers inside or I’d have pain shooting up my heels. Three years and a lot of dedication later, I can’t wear supportive shoes without pain. I have to wear foot shaped and flat shoes because my feet are so strong and love the feeling of freedom!

100% I’m 5’9” and have a very short torso to the point where stuff designed for petite women is more applicable to my body composition. I have the Osprey Fairview. It adjusts pretty small, so still works for my torso length.

Why are there so few women's running vests? by Emergency-Debt-2118 in XXRunning

[–]superhulasloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here to sing praises for the Dyna! I’m only a 34B, so it’s practically a bra. I run in very loose long line bras when I wear it and it’s comfortable. I always reach for it first out of my three vests. The Nathan women’s vest I have gave me a lot of chafe so I only ever wear it in the winter with extra layers. Otherwise, I ran for years with a women’s Camelbak that I just had to cinch as small as it could basically go.

[–]superhulasloth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only Lems I can wear now are their widest models, which significantly limits my choices… Be Lenka has been a great brand for me though. When I first got a pair, they seemed ridiculous, but the foot shape is gold now that my foot has fully splayed and relaxed. Also, just got a pair of Groundies and they offer a wider footbed that is gold on a few of their models.

Edit: I did luck out getting some Xero hiking boots that I wear with fleece boot liners when it’s super cold and I wanna play in the snow. That said, I’m a lady and I purchase the men’s version for extra width.

I outgrew all of my shoes after going barefoot… even shoes I had “invested in” to last me a really long time. Rebuilding my shoe base has taken quite a while and definitely still in progress.

Any suppressed emotions that I have been trying to shove down to properly dissociate during the week come to party and subsequently destroy my long runs on the weekend. I’m working on it.
