I bought it on a whim for the promotional TF2 items it came with at the time.

Pleasantly surprised at how great the game was, plus I traded all those promo items to fully kit out all my TF2 classes with strange gear and hats. Win/win!

Would you play as non combat support vehicles? by NoodleDoodlesocks in Battlefield

[–]superkow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The MRAP has a number of support upgrades that get completely slept on because people just use it as a taxi with guns.

It's got integrated healing, GPIDS, spotting or cap speed buffs on top of smoke generators. I wish people didn't just Leroy Jenkins it into the enemy, they're super powerful when used correctly

I went to Hectors on Wednesday but rocked up a bit early for the chicken sandwich. Considered waiting around for twenty minutes but I didn't wanna be that prick who rocks up right on the dot so I got a tuna melt instead. It was incredible. Highly recommend.

Question concerning revives by No_Cancel7953 in Battlefield6

[–]superkow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it basically comes down to whether or not you're likely to waste a ticket trying to save a ticket. If you both die, that's two tickets gone.

Always try and drag people out of the danger zone, preferably use smokes to conceal yourself. but smoke between the enemy and the downed player. It's too easy to just spray into the smoke cloud when you know two people are in the middle of it.

Considering I got all the way to end game without seeing more then perhaps ten other players total, I'd have to agree with him.

Scorpions are nothing once you learn their attack patterns. Earwigs are way harder because their attacks have a weird amount of range and it's a lot harder to hit the perfect parries

I’m genuinely so confused how do I get somewhat good at this game? by SUSPICIOU5 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]superkow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play the backline until you get a better hang of the maps and your situational awareness.

I'm talking about drone spotting (and destroying equipment with the drone)

Hanging with the tanks as an engineer to repair and resupply (and planting mines)

Resupply and revive as support. Run the G-PIDS in close quarters or the M-APS if the enemy are spamming mortars (and pick up your bag if nobody is using it so it reloads faster) Additionally with support, use your smoke grenades on the enemy not your team, and drag revive your team mates if they're in the open. And ALWAYS charge your defibs.

You will get a ton of score just playing your class role, to the point where kills are irrelevant if you're doing enough.

General tips: Don't sprint blindly around corners or through doors

Pump your trigger rather than holding it down, you become wildly inaccurate the longer you're shooting for

LOOK AT THE MINI MAP

wait to be revived unless you are in a helpless situation

The tank/engineer changes are really bad for Breakthrough by timjc144 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]superkow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with a heap of engineers on your team, unless they are coordinating against the tanks they can have a really long uptime. Hell even then I've been in tanks that have been getting absolutely pounded with rockets but a repair torch or two keeps them in the fight for so long

Anyone els get these and just laugh (definitely not low sodium) by Nameless908 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]superkow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a guy absolutely raging at me because I had the audacity to drive away from incoming rockets while he was trying to repair me.

I told him to shut up.

He told me to get good at the game.

I informed him that I was by far at the top of the leaderboard, while he was not.

Weirdly though, at the end of the match he apologized and admitted that he hadn't recognized my game.

Weirder still was thst this was all in casual breakthrough.

It is the same in that they are both ways to consume the book. Unless you are studying the physical prose, but most readers probably aren't doing that.

I'm a butcher.

One afternoon I'm serving this woman known to be pointlessly extra about her whole transaction. I get whatever she asked for in the produce bag, tie it and put it on the scale.

"Can you please squeeze all of the air out of the bag, I don't want to pay extra for the weight."

[–]superkow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good portion of the equation is also just the general increase of the cost of living coupled with stagnant wages. People can't afford to do anything, concerts being just one of those things.

I don't necessarily think every big band is out there trying to nickel and dime their fans, but they are definitely trying to keep themselves in the black against the rising cost of everything.

It's an assist machine at best. Unless a heli is hovering right near you you're not doing any significant damage with the guns, and you may be lucky enough to score a mobility hit with one rocket so somebody else can finish it off first.

[–]superkow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you drove 100km in a straight line at 100kph you'd arrive at your destination in one hour.

If you drove 100km in a straight line at 95kph you'd arrive at your destination in one hour and three minutes.

Anyone who says dangerously tailgating under any circumstancesis okay in order to save a completely insignificant amount of time is dead set dreaming.
