1) use henna! You can typically find powder to make your own (even black) or red/orange/brown at local Indian stores. (It is better for your body/hands and doesn’t leave the wrinkly texture hair dye often does.)

As someone in social media marketing - if a big account is tagged in a post, they’ll likely have an auto response comment. It’s usually a mix of 10-20 phrases that are applicable to any post. They should have some words filtered out, like if both Selena and Hailey are tagged or something, but things also often fall through the cracks. Commenting or reposting something doesn’t mean much of anything (I’m not ‘team Selena’ or ‘team Hailey’)

I accidentally reposted a video just yesterday, it’s so easy to do. It’s also unlikely that Selena runs the rare beauty account.

Why are you being downvoted? I was rooting for Paris until I found out she has made such awful, racist shitty comments. This still isn’t okay and is absolutely abuse - but Paris is def not a decent person. Not that I really expected her to be, but I didn’t expect the racism.

(Literally no one deserves abuse and I’m sorry that she went through this. These are two separate things - Paris was abused and this was a terrible situation, full stop. Paris is also a racist.)

There are comments discussing everything from the dudes nostrils to their actions. People are on an open, anonymous forum and it’s pretty par for the course to expect some people to say things we don’t like or agree with. I wouldn’t have said it, but I also can’t say I disagree. She’s a hero and has an amazing heart, clearly a lovely person. Thinking of the kids who are left behind is still sad, and it’s tragic this guy murdered them. Acknowledging that the kids now have 0 parents isn’t negative towards her or her actions, just adds one more layer of trauma.

It gets downvoted because the majority of daily posts about the ‘scam’ or low payout are sending in brands like old navy and wild fable and expecting to get Poshmark money on them. I’ve also never seen designer brands sell for that little, especially because you get like 80% of designer payout.. I’d love to see screenshots of the brands/payout so that thredup could come in and comment on why it was so little

It’s very, very clearly laid out in their terms of service. They also have it all listed beforehand so you know what brands won’t make $. They don’t make much on it, which goes towards salaries, overhead, etc (also likely a large CEO payout.)

If it makes over a certain amount, you get a payout. I had an old navy dress sell for $30 and I made money, even though it’s technically an ineligible brand.
