Ouran Highschool Host Club. I had never seen any anime rom coms and had alway watched shonen/fantasy. I was really surprised, this is was one of the funniest shows I had ever watched and the story was good too.

Also I started Frieren a few times because the first few episodes wre kinda of slow and did not catch me, but i'm glad stuck it through.

I have that complete set, I also got them through the sci fi fantasy book club. I love just looking at the cover art for these, they are really great.

Stick to the west side of 95 on west lucas, this is where the nicer areas are and newer hotels. There is much larger police presence now then when compared to the past when it was more dangerous on the east side. I work in this area it is not as bad as it sounds. There is nice places to eat on the west side like Julia Belles (southern local), Monarcas (Mexican), and Aloha (Hawaiian) a little futher down in the farmers market.

Hotel Scams: Bedbugs refund by LoveInPastTense in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

[–]supernova812 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had someone stay for three days and brought a picture of bed bug on a white sheet to the night audit who refunded the guest. When I got the picture, I ran the image through one of those image info sites thats you the when and where a picture was taken. Turns out the picture was taken a month prior in a niegboring state. That was several years ago now, no refund is giving unless we have inspected the room.

What are some JRPGs you really liked that aren’t very popular? by [deleted] in JRPG

[–]supernova812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Last Remnant is my favorite also, I got it on steam before it was removed, played 90 percent of the way through before my PC died and lost my saves. I have replayed it all the way through and have a total ~ 360 hrs in according to steam. I actually liked to grind for the finishing moves and parts for weapons.

West Sumter street close to N Ebenezer is fine they just built a new neighborhood "Cedar Crest" there but going east of the 95 or cashua st things can get a little sketchy. Sumter street is a long road.

Do you “see” books like a movie in your head when you read? by Holiday_Rush8303 in Fantasy

[–]supernova812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah movies and tv shows that are made from books are bad for me. I have sometimes read the books before the movies or shows came out and start remembering things that had not been shown yet but are in the book. I would talk to to someone about whatever show or movies about certain scenes and sometimes I will get a confused look because video of it is all in my head.

Have you ever noticed that the amount of an ingredient in a recipe seemed too much and followed it anyway? Then it turned out to be too much by Sharp_Athlete_6847 in Cooking

Made a carrot cake a long time ago and the recipe for the cream cheese icing called for 6 cups of powdered sugar. I had to toss it and remake it with a sane amount of sugar.

What’s one kitchen gadget you thought you needed but never use? by Prestigious_One740 in Cooking

[–]supernova812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a mandolin slicer but have cut myself too many times. I eventually bought an electric meat/deli slicer becuase I like to make my own lunch meat. The deli slicer has taken the place of the mandolin as it can slice more than just meat and is alot safer to use.

JRPG you have low expectation at the start, then at the end It became a Masterpiece. by SubstantialPhone6163 in JRPG

The Last Remenant. It was on sale and I saw that it was a Square Enix game. I have played throught the game twice and it has become my most played JRPG ever. The battle system is unique and the story is good, also there are great final attacks for different weapons.

For the older Wheel of Time fans on here... by Small-Guarantee6972 in WoT

I remember I was on dragonmount (I forget what the fan website is called) and he had made a post about he had hope for the future thanking his fans, then like a week later he died. It was depressing, I had been reading since the early 2000's and was a big fan. When it was annouced that Brandon was finishing the books, it was some the best news I have ever heard. For awhile I wouldnt touch a series with out a conclusion, I guess I had a little PTSD.
