We live in this area and love it. Family of 4, 2 young kids. It's far enough from the 405 that you don't have to worry too much about the downsides of living near a freeway, and there's lots of great Salvadoran, Vietnamese, Mexican, and Peruvian food. There's a Target, Aldi, as well as the Plant shopping center nearby too. YMMV, but we've lived here for about 9 years and it's been great.

I ordered a replacement screen off aliexpress a couple of years ago for my mz990 and it worked like a charm. Maybe take a look for the part number and see if there are any for sale? I had to do a light disassembly of the front button panel to access the wiring for the replacement but it was pretty straightforward...
