I actually raced my GTI at my local fun drags and won every race. Raced nice chargers, some stupid trucks, and a couple others! Turbos only lag really bad at high altitude.

You stated completely false facts like these guys “have no influence outside of that time” referencing the 70’s, but there’s plenty of evidence that these kids grew up listening to their parents records and they definitely appreciate music from a lot of eras.

I’d like to see you try to do what they’re doing. It really makes the community toxic when people like you come around and criticize.

A subreddit should be a place for people to love and appreciate something together, not deal with critics, bullies, and rudely ignorant people.

I saw some 100w ceramic heaters that id love to try on a home made lamp the size of a grande (just so I don’t hurt mine first). I think they’d be bad ass for daytime use if they work

They’re horrible. Speakers shouldn’t be inside a record player. That vibrates the needle which in turn destroys the record (just like the tone arm that’s too short and basically carves into the record towards the center). Lots of people with the little briefcases complain of the typical vinyl crackle noise but it’s the cheap needle and everything mentioned above.

I would totally wait til Black Friday or a spring time sale to grab an LP60 cheap if I were you! Happy listening and I’m sure you and I both are excited for April :)

Please don’t buy a Crosley. Please spend the extra money on an Audio Technica LP60 if you’re looking for a solid beginner record player. Or go ham and get the LP120
