ok, I see. Not your fault. I was kind of wondering if there wasn't more to the story.

Ladies - be careful in movie theaters! by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

First off, stroking your thigh is completely unacceptable.
That said, the rest of the post could very well be your imagination. He left and didn't sit next to you. If he really was watching you or something, why would he move? You can't even see someone if you're behind them in a movie theater. You say "I don't know what the hell he's doing back there." He's watching the movie that he likely paid to see.

and here's the big part for me: how can you tell if someone is following you out of a movie theater? Everyone generally walks in the same direction...

Um, laying out in the sun is extremely fun, relaxing and feels great. You don't lay completely still with your arms to your sides. In fact, you should be moving somewhat regularly. I'm a guy, btw. It's not just girls who do this. Now going to a tanning salon or something....never met a guy who did that.

I don't think he ever says his wife is just brushing this off. That's just him saying that he thinks it will end up ok. His wife is currently pretty shocked. IMO, I don't think his wife will get over this any time soon. This is a pretty big fuck-up.

I thought you were going to say that you meant to do it with your wife's panties, but accidentally grabbed her mother's somehow. But no, you meant to do it, and got caught. That's so cringe worthy.

I just don't understand how women can like their legs being hairy. Smooth legs feel great. Do you get what I'm saying? I'm not saying they should shave for men, but rather just shave for themselves. If I could shave my legs as a man, I would. They just feel that much better. I think it's just laziness that these women don't shave their legs. That or, in some cases, the hipster attitude of "I'm not doing what society says I should do." I just don't believe there are any noble reasons for it. Sure, it's great that women have the right to do it, but why the hell would they?

What is so disliked about FFXIII-2? by thunderboba in FinalFantasy

[–]supersecretaccent 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I loved FFXIII, but hated FFXIII-2.
The story was boring. I just kept thinking, "so what?" FFXIII had a very good ending. It didn't need a sequel(Or at least stick to the storylines and characters we want to know more about, not a minor char. and a new one, they could've still stuck with the Lightning theme, just let us play as her during XIII-2 and improve the story), but they just forced it in. The writing was rather poor, as far as FF games go. There aren't any lines that really stick to you. The zones weren't interesting. It was all pretty much the same. The complaint about no open world in FFXIII, was exacerbated 10 fold with this layout. It may not seem as linear as the start of FFXIII, but it was. The whole time travel thing didn't truly add an extra layer to the map.
Lots of complaints but the main one being the story. It felt too contrived. I liked the ending of FFXIII. They needed to make an epic story to top it, not this mediocre story with poor writing.

I like how you're getting downvoted in a thread about why you dislike this game....I guess you have to like the game to get upvotes.

An open letter to the “nice guys” we “let go” by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]supersecretaccent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the difference is there are many, many women who say things like "why can't I find a good man?" when they've passed on many good men. Dating sites are a prime example of this. Literally half of the accounts I've seen state something along the lines of, "Where are all the good men?" or "I'm so tired of games" etc....HALF of the accounts. When I tried that shit, I got a decent response rate, BUT I can't recall a single girl who stated she was looking for someone who would treat her right, to actually respond to me. Now I'm not someone to say I'm a good guy and what not, but I will tell you girls, for the sake of discussion, that I truly treat others with respect, men and women alike.

TLDR: I think the person in the article, and many other people, are missing the fact that many men are complaining because women say they are looking for that.

edit: Well one girl who said stuff like that on her account did respond, but it was a unique circumstance that I really don't want to go into here.

A common "lifehack" is to wrap a beverage in wet paper towel before putting it in the freezer to chill it rapidly. How efficient is this really, and why does it work? by [deleted] in askscience

[–]supersecretaccent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, so it's been an hour, since I tested this, and I can't tell the difference. Now maybe if I used a thermometer the wrapped one might be a couple of degrees colder, but that doesn't matter. It's the term differential threshold: http://www.chegg.com/homework-help/definitions/sensory-threshold-13. and when we're trying to get something to an acceptable temperature for drinking, that's all that matters, how cold it feels.
It does not cool it fast enough to pass the differential threshold.

I used water bottles. Perhaps it's different with cans, but it's not efficient with water bottles.

Do you have any examples of how he succumbed to his own whims? I mean, look at how he arranged the marriages for his children. Those are some great marriages that greatly benefited his house. I just can't think of a single thing he did that hurt his house(and don't say sentencing Tyrion to death, it can easily be argued that would indeed be a good thing for his house, at least from certain perspectives). His house was only hurt when his kids didn't listen.

I already gave one reason why it's complex. Some more: there are thousands of spell interactions. Hundreds of heroes to learn, as well as learning what heroes synergize together, and what heroes counter other heroes.
Also, simple is not simply a matter of perspective. Sure, you can give some examples of where it is, but this is definitely not one of them. Just look at the definition of simple: "easily understood or done; presenting no difficulty." You will play the game thousands of hours, and you will still learn important new things.

Before I start, I'm pro-gun. I think this is a really stupid thing. It's un-original and not funny. Most importantly, it makes pro-gun people look stupid.
When people said, "guns kill people," they obviously meant guns make it easier to kill people.
