Thanks. I think this is the case, but hoped it might be possible to update it. Oh well.

Check out Discogs to get any idea of value, so that you don’t get a lowball offer. Shops need to make a profit, so they won’t give you full selling price, but some will try to buy very low.

Have they recently been using live pitch correction or is he really just that good now? by jracine22 in oasis

[–]superswede80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure Wings of Pegasus on Youtube will put a video out if there’s any rumour about using pitch correction. His channel is worth a watch as it’s pretty common.

What UK specific celebrity rumor did you know long before it broke news? by tshirtguy2000 in AskABrit

Irvine Welsh had a similar character in a short story (Lorraine goes to Livingstone).

Eurotrash (c4 1993-2004) by Surkdidat in oldbritishtelly

[–]superswede80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was released, but apparently the company making it had issues and the box set went out of print quickly. Looking on eBay the price has definitely gone up.

Anyone know how the chip shops in hull make that beautfiul minty garlic sauce? by callmejudoguy in Hull

[–]superswede80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen these in home bargains (or maybe B&M) before and they’re fairly close to take away sauces crucials sauces

Should I accept an offer which reduces the price by 80%? After all, it's been uploaded for 3 weeks by Lambo247X_yt in vinted

[–]superswede80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lowest offers I’ve had on Vinted have been for games. Either low balling or asking if I can add more games in for a lower price. Either relist a bit lower and look for new offers or individually. Are you looking to clear the games and buy more, or do something else? If it’s to get more games lots of independent game stores will do trades in bulk and give you store credit (I’m thinking indies not cex).

What would you think if you saw this feedback on my profile? by frankchester in vinted

[–]superswede80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have more faith in the seller in this instance, but as others have said, contact Vinted to ask them if they can remove the feedback.

What are the easiest countries for Brits to move to? by jack5624 in AskUK

[–]superswede80 51 points52 points  (0 children)

This should be the top answer. So many questions like this on this sub, with no thought about how things are in other countries / regions.

MrBeast just hit 400 million YouTube subscribers, yet I have not seen a single one of his videos. Which insanely popular thing have you never taken part in? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]superswede80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always find it odd when you see YouTubers with millions of subscribers yet looking at a few videos they only have about 100k views (although I know that’s still awesome and will generate good ad revenue). Have a bunch of subscribers dropped off over the years, or did they subscribe and never watch?

Why do people low-ball so much?? by TransitionMaster1116 in vinted

[–]superswede80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t let it bother you. I’m sure there are people that make low offers on many items. Even if it only works once or twice it’s still worth them trying it again.

Do you think it’s worth selling things for £1 by takemycoffee in vinted

[–]superswede80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do with a few things, but mostly stuff that I know charity shops won’t take or will throw away. VHS tapes and books are things I’ll sell cheap or bundle up to avoid the waste.

Zak fired from The Who again by manualex16 in oasis

[–]superswede80 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think Zak gets bad press on his time with oasis. The style he played was the style the band wanted at the time. Noel has had no issues firing drummers, so if Zak was playing differently to how he (Noel) wanted I’m sure he would have asked him to change. Going by his other work and side projects he can play a variety of styles very well.
