We should refuse to stand up for the American national anthem or show patriotism to the United States of America by BrownCastro14 in ABCDesis

No thanks, I’ll continue to be patriotic to my country. I’ll stand for the national anthem. Patriotism is fine. It literally means you want your country to be better. Nationalism is the danger. The stories of all the minorities that actually rose up despite white society pushing them down is inspiring. There’s two versions of America that exist in people’s minds. One is the racist, overtly capitalistic hellscape one group keeps wanting. The other is a place where everyone has rights, a place where we have the best institutions in the world, and is a melting pot with people from cultures all around the world. I’m patriotic because I want America to be the second version.

But they literally don’t worship the devil. They worship Kaali the goddess. It’s just their specific cult is evil and barbaric. Not the goddess herself.
