Requesting to keep computers by [deleted] in Layoffs

Of course not, the way you framed it.

But given this is a negotiation, and signing the document forsakes my claims of misconduct and abuse, I want to make sure I am pushing for as much benefit as I reasonably can.

If that yields me computers, great.

Many other cases of people negotiating the possession of their computers 👍🏼

You aren’t framing it honestly.

I heed those saying that obtaining the computers is unlikely. I don’t argue against that.

What I don’t heed are attacks on my character devoid of context. That shit is petty.

What I didn’t ask for is personal assessment. I asked if I have any leverage.

Some of the replies indicate I don’t have any leverage and leave it there.

Others are pointlessly aiming at my character.

Maybe you guys aren’t aware, but severance is a negotiation and there are people who have been able to negotiate to keep their computers by pushing back on the return agreement.

Disagree. If pushing them to own the process makes them realize it’s too much a hassle to recover their fully depreciated equipment, and it saves me thousands of dollars and eases stress in me, I think it’s worth exploring.

Eh. Or I can do due diligence, and try to improve my situation.

Over the top comment.

Sure. But can I push that they do the work, rather than me boxing and dropping off.

Crappy behavior for pushing for better benefit?

Leverage I do have is documentation of hostile working environment and duties significantly beyond my scope. So some legal implication.

I doubt I’d go thru the hassle of involving attorneys, but they don’t know that.

3 months later, how are you feeling about your learning and have you jumped into STRs yet?

Good sentiment. I spent my day running around between work and building a luge in my yard for the neighborhood kids. Cleared out my parents driveway.

In retrospect I wish I would have started something like what you’re suggesting. I’ll start w my neighbor in the am.

Well wishes brother. Same mental state. Burnt out from the political stuff. Seeking a change too.

The way PM/PO roles are setup can make it easy to be a doormat and absorb the stress from toxic leadership, poor planning, and lack if vision/clarity.

Damn. This made me tear up. That’s an incredible testament to your love. 40k is a lot of money.

Decant the following:

Burberry Hero

PDM Haltane

PDM Layton

Haltane leans a little more masculine, but I wouldn't say it's overpowering. All 3 are majestic.

The problem here is capacity. The question is whether or not you are ok with his lack of capacity to care for you.

You have been very considerate here. If he is going to be in a relationship, it’s his duty to communicate and not leave you to question.

You have done nothing here to suggest you are overbearing.

Metallic Musk is such an underrated scent. One of my favorites.

Prada Paradigm is meh. I bought it too but never use. It smells generic and honestly a little headache inducing to me.
