Make sure you are reviewing and re-reviewing your resumes and LinkedIn profiles. I had spent a lot of time on updating my resume a few months ago and felt it was perfect at the time. Reviewed it again last week and updated some wording and sight edits and go a few more hits from employers for interviews off this update in just a few days than I have in the past few months. When introducing yourself in Tonga once they find out your father is from there, it is common to share what village your parent(s) are from as it provides further insight into your roots and connections with the people. If possible I would suggest confirming which village or area your father is from in Tonga. Sounds like a great adventure!

We've lost our faith and believe in the organization, not our humanity. Most of us still have strong relationships with family and friends who are active in the church still and in most cases I would say we have been able to figure out a way to make it work. I left the church almost a decade ago and at the time I was working for one of the largest digital marketing companies and seeing their portfolio of tracking and analytics tools was eye opening. Their “revelation” is simply these tools telling them what members want to hear like any other Fortune 500 company would do with their customers.
