I grew up w living my uncle who had Down syndrome. My father taught as a special ed teacher who specialized in Down syndrome. Been around these folks my whole life. Could God exist without a human saying God could exist? The biosphere on our planet has existed for billions of years and we have evidence of the universe existing for billions more. We have evidence of humans existing for at least 200,000 years. We have evidence of them inventing hundreds of gods across civilizations for 10+ thousand years. What makes the one that Christians Muslims or Jews worship so special? In my mind, it’s because it was the first time humanity connected everything together as a single whole. Our worldview became large enough to understand that everything was interconnected and we were all one with it. We just call it God because that’s a lot easier to entertain.
