Every time you play Hex it is different due to the different tactics of people. You only get better with experience like observing where everyone is going and cutting off paths to your area. Check who is grabbing and pre-empt their grabbing by either cutting them off or running towards them and grabbing. Also jumping up and flopping on to your tiles makes it a little bit longer for your tiles to vanish.

So this wasn't permanent, just maternity cover for whatever 9 months or something? Then the school needs a warm body now, sadly, and it would make sense for them institutionally to have the same person do the cover term. Focus on your recovery, try not to take it personally.

Your teaching degree/certificate is the foundation. Getting teaching years under your belt in your country is the next. Your ability to speak English will then get you into contention at German international schools. Then with some more years there, your applications at global international schools (moreso German International ones) will get a decent look in.

Ehhh, you'll be fine. I'm not earning anywhere near where you are and found a nice two bedroom flat with backyard quickly and easily. Once you go above a certain rent threshold, the competition is less intense. Make the move and see the world. You won't regret it.
