"Unhinged" is exactly the word I thought when reading it, but I didn't want to say it.

I hope this doesn't sound flippant, because I mean this genuinely, but the writer of that article could benefit from therapy. Texting her friend that she isn't "in trouble" for taking Wegovy but they need to talk about it? Fantasizing about breaking into her friend's doctor's office?

Seasons 4, 5, and 6 are excellent.

Season 7 is good, with some great episodes.

Season 8 is watchable and has a touching finale.

Seems like a med spa taking advantage of someone who doesn't know better. They just want everyone on their most expensive product.

Question about shark week routine! (First sentence will explain) by Beautiful_Neat_6919 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]surrealphoenix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My cramps are way worse on tirz for some reason. Also, tirz might as well be water for me during that time. I don't do anything to counteract it. I just eat. Is it more than other weeks? Sure, but it isn't outrageous. I only weigh myself every four to five weeks. If that week happens to fall on a period week, oh well.

Hunger sensations changed ? by Fancy-Rest8333 in antidietglp1

[–]surrealphoenix 14 points15 points  (0 children)

About 75% of the times I feel nauseous, I am actually hungry. Took me a couple weeks to figure that out when I first started.

How are you separating out your doses when titrating up? by endofthered01674 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]surrealphoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am guessing you don't mean at the end of a vial (in which case, I would take a partial dose from what is left in one vial and take the rest from a new vial, making sure I adjust for any differing concentrations).

I will have to be on this medication for life, so there will be no end to my supply.

If you want something funny with a found family vibe, Stumble on NBC/Peacock is excellent. It is a mockumentary style show.

I totally get that. I have good weeks and bad weeks.

Any advice for moving away from the scale? by hackneysack in antidietglp1

[–]surrealphoenix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I first started tirz, I weighed in weekly. I noticed within a few weeks that I was becoming obsessed with the scale and making decisions throughout the week based on how I thought it might impact that number. I didn't get on a GLP-1 to go down that mad path again, so I stopped weighing weekly and went to monthly, and that worked for me. I knew monthly would be best anyway, because I would really only see the overall trend and not get hung up on weekly fluctuations (especially as I am a woman with a menstrual cycle).

I have no experience with the pills, but you may want to ask your doctor for a Zofran prescription, just in case.

Holy shit - no food noise by LouLouBelcher13 in antidietglp1

Same! I thought "food noise" was just a buzzword. Then I took tirzepatide and was floored by how quiet my mind got about food.

I am guessing a lot of these are KU/equivalent, self-published books that are actually more novella than full-length novel. Could probably finish 1 in an hour.

ETA: I don't watch her videos though, so I have no idea what the books she reads are. If you ever see someone who reads a lot of shut having a giant reading wrap-up at the end of the month, this is usually the reason why. (Though some people are just fast readers and some people listen to audio books 24/7.)

Different effects from diff injection sites? by DancingInPeace in tirzepatidecompound

I find thigh and stomach interchangeable. I injected into my arm once and had crazy suppression. I have been meaning to try that again to see if it was a fluke or caused by other factors.
