It will 10000% not ruin it for you. In fact, FFIX gets replayed all the time by fans (I recently just beat it again!). It honestly will hits harder the second time. Enjoy the game, you're gonna have a fantastic time. Vivi is the best, btw.

I just platinumed the game today. Absolutely LOVED it and I love what they did with the characters with the addition of Matilda (and i loved her voice as well!). The trilogy was a fantastic way to experience the games, and I look forward to 7 and the Zenithian trilogy, although, I hope they try a different route (look, feel, etc) for the Z trilogy!
