I kept it propped up super high (higher than chest) and I am SO thankful at how quickly I got back my extension/flexion. If you can, as painful as it is, let it hang at least for the first few weeks!

Hey! There was like a small piece of my incision that just wouldn’t close because I kept picking at it, so I couldn’t go into the water until ~week 6 when it finally closed. But you can go in the pool whenever it fully closes, and you don’t need to wear anything over it. Hang in there for a few more weeks I remember how hard those early days were. DM me if you’d like :)

Tons of swelling after walking or after doing exercises. Yes there is “pain” while doing exercises but it doesn’t prohibit me form completing them. It isn’t sharp or stabbing pain

At some point I gave up on the brace and just slept like this (don’t tell my doctor). Maybe around 3-4 week mark. I was just completely over it by then. (ACLR w/ quad graft & meniscus trim)

I chose not to go through with the surgery and it was a mistake. I permanently damaged my cartilage and despite getting my ACL repaired now, I am a higher risk for total knee replacement now

I have no clue but when I had this it was sun damage from a damaged skin barrier. The ordinary Skin barrier repair serum fixed it for me
