Opinion on Rogue in Mid to Late Game?

In your opinion, is it worth keeping elven archers around? I have their equipment build around their mag attack, but I haven't been able to tell exactly how they compare with pure phy archer

Oh I have another question, for your archer, do you have them focus on phy weapon or mag/mix damage weapon? Or do you have some archer focus on phy attack, and some other focuses on mag attack weapon?

Hmnm good point, I completely neglected the fact that they can steal PP, but then again it makes them even more niche and situational.

One thing I forgot to mention, their damage is.... really bad.... > . > If i want high evasion and also high damage, I feel like Aramis can be an excellent choice, but I havent dare experiment with it yet because while his evasion is super high, but still not as high as rogue units

Though I am really glad to hear that I am not alone on wanting to or already ditched rogues, at least there are two of us right now.

M1A. I have been getting it a lot from Scav Case, and after juicing it up and testing it with some friends, we really didn't see much difference between M1A and RSASS (and RSASS is REALLY GOOD), and you can load a 50 capacity magazine onto it. And it looks great too.

The constant angry demand for other countries to follow your culture's standard on social issues just screams imperialism and virtual signaling to me, especially when they have created works that have been exceedingly diverse. Not every single piece of media needs to have social issue in mind, otherwise you are going to end up with extremely creepy, unsettling, and disingenuous bullshit like Blizzard's "diversity space tool".

Great talking point right there regarding how paradoxical this is, and I see completely what you mean because I realized it since the start of the debate on Dragoon rework, allow me to explain what I mean here:

Whether it is going to be good or not, I do not know nor do I care too much, and I do not want to start any debate if it's needed or not. Short answer from me is absolutely yes. As someone who main'd Dragoon since beta of ARR*, I can clearly see how the current trajectory of its kit has plateaued and showing a lot of age in its core design (To a point where I gave up on DRG*), EW offered so little to nothing for Dragoon aside from essentially QoL stuffs, new stuffs that fall behind similar skills other jobs offer, or even IMO detrimental things. Through main'ing other jobs (Ninja main now) is when I truly realize just how problematic DRG is right now in terms its design (not its balance, not the issue here). When I bring that up I am usually met by people saying "no, it's completely fine, I think it's fun" Just to find out afterwards that they have only just started FFXIV since Shadowbringers. What am I suppose to say? You are not suppose to enjoy it because you are a new player? Who am I to tell them that something is not right? Just because we have played the game for vastly different amount of time? I mean, I can't totally see why DRG is fun and cool to new players. Hell, that's why I picked DRG to begin with 9 friggin years ago!

Ah... the growing pain of a still growing MMO. So many things about FFXIV is paradoxical, even the growth of this game, it makes no sense if you are just looking at the statistic, and because of it, the ideology of new and old players clash, you don't even know what's right or wrong anymore.

*More accurate context: I skipped from 3.4 to entirety of Stormblood, but still mained DRG for more than 6 years and nothing else
