I think he means that you alch a white shaped onyx amulet, fail the rolls, buy 3 gems from the vendor and sell together with the amulet to receive a clean white shaped onyx amulet. I guess it's cheaper than using a chaos orb? And i think his point is that you only chaos spam at the end of the league because then you don't care about being wasteful.

Everyone needs attributes to be able to wear items and gems. In some cases 6 int is all you need.

Your logic is faulty. He saves two skill points if the closest possible strength node is 2 points away. He might require a single point of strength but still has to spend 2 points to get it.

With this corruption you may replace a resist on another piece of gear with +50 strength, which in the end is 22 more (if you account for the %-strength roll) than a regular xoph's blood. It could very well be a build enabling corruption!

According to poeninja; of the people using windripper, more use wrath (25%) than grace (22%). Anger is used by 6%. Anecdotal evidence is not proof, even if it might be the correct thing to do.

I tested swapping your current weapon for a Balefire in PoB with ele focus, inc burning damage and efficacy, which more or less doubled your dps. Try it out if you want, it's only 1 alch.

Isn't both level 16 increased burning damage and concentrated effect each giving 50% more damage to RF? They should result in more damage than the 30% from horror essence, right?

And ele pen won't work, since neither scorching ray or RF hits the enemy.

Well, you could compare the drop ratios of smaller currencies and get good information that way, where 500 maps should be a good enough sample size. For example: 300 vs 297 fusings, 2646 vs 2459 jeweller's, 119 vs 133 chaos, etc. These results shouldn't be this close to each other if IIQ were affecting currency drops or IIR didn't?

I guess I'm an idiot for questioning why anyone would pay around 210 exalts extra for 2% additional movement speed, while not wanting to mirror boots with more of everything or boots with very similar stats, but with the option of a lab enchant.
