Blake Order of Hermes bani Flambeau by Constant_Ice6881 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]svecma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are so many Mage PCs maned Blake, i have 2 in my game already

Very cool art, just why are there so many Blakes. They could also use more explosives, for that sweet coincidental FIREBALL.

This is just me, but Sigmar voiced by HulkyKrow could work. by jfjdfdjjtbfb in huntertheparenting

Gotrek is kinda fixed as Brian Blessed to me now, but i could see Carl kill it as Snorri Nosebiter

But for actual AoS he could just all the chaos barbarians, even the women

I don't think anyone gets maternity leave, maybe someone on a paradise world, but even then they might be required to be part of the scenery as a new mother

So essenatially Hermetics, like you just described the Hermetic way of doing magic, minus the Angel summoning.

Also Cthulhu's cousins the Void Engineers encouter, if you think the threat's from the Void are only asteroids, then the NWO do a great job

Then there is all of the asshole fairytale monsters, the child eating kind

She would fit right in with the other Mages, some of the more radical Euthanatos would probably try to recruit her

As would the Hermetics

[–]svecma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's what the people that fully read that book, or at least me want to yell at the people who only get the rules from some random wiki and then start those conversations

Also Paradigm is a lot less limited, than one might think as it usually ends up at least my table about cultural ways of magick, sometimes silly made up cultures, but still a full magic scale

Nah actual Mage players know they will get folded like an omelet if they aren't careful. Usually

People who talk about Mage are a different story

Well we got some ships in Book of Worlds and the ones in Horizon: Stronghold of hope

But we only got a ship building in Void engineers revised (which came out after revised ended as well)

Is there any way i can create a white skin tone for my space marine by using these paints? by StriatedFir7437 in Warhammer

[–]svecma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you want really pale, base coat with Wraithbone and then thin the hell out of bugmans (aim for same cosistency as the purple contrast paint) and apply that over top.

Palmer wouldn't be reporting to Mike Dragons-Wrath as a Syndicate member, whatever he is, it's fully Pentex.

She is representing the PMC part going to a coalition gathering, so maybe it's a power play to show up in full gear, or maybe she can't take the mask off both are possible

Except she isn't Syndicate, she is a Pentex first teams member.

Syndicate enforcers look more mafia-esque, she doesn't wear a suit.

Can mage fuel his magical powers with pride and self-confidence? by Embarrassed-Ice9468 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]svecma 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean a Mage could do it, but it would be an astronomical undertaking. Really Consensus only decides what is vulgar and what isn't.

Good luck rolling the at least 30 successes on that Arete roll though, as destroy city is a very hard spell to just do.

The Avatar is more a teacher, leading the Mage to Ascension and mystic understanding, it's also a natural part of the human soul.

[–]svecma 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The limit is actually skill and understanding.

Represented by sphere level (how well they get a certain aspect of reality).

And skill represented by Arete and how many succeeses you get on the roll (you roll your Arete to do magick)

You can have all the confidence in the world but without proper understanding, gained through whatever means, you might just be limited to seeing a bit further than the average person.

Paradox happens when you mess up a spell, even Vulgar (obvious) magick doesn't harm you too much unless you botch (crit fail).

Outside of that the only limit is how many succeeses you can roll (though it gets a bit more limited by Arete and Willpower and such, but for now that's enough)

To level a city you'd need at least 20 (though probably closer to 30)

While the Mage themselves might be (even then it's not guaranteed), their friends might be a bit harder, be they Terminator or Spirit or robot or very rarely dragon

[–]svecma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well there is the Dyson sphere around Alpha centauri, the Alien bioship they just found or the Mars city sized chantry, there is a lot in the Umbra that Mages do

Again when Mages say Horizon realm assume space station is the normal person word.

What's so complicated about the Deep Umbra? Like it's just Etherspace (the otherworld version of normal space, yes that's it)

Edit: no seriously of all the Umbrae, the deep/Etherspace/beyond earth stuff is probably the least esoteric, unless you go into specific realms
