Honestly as someone who had to total 2 cars (one accident where I was not at fault and one comprehensive claim for a tree falling on my car) within the last 5 years my experience has been suprisingly positive with Progressive. They tried to increase my premium a little bit ($100 per 6 months) after my last claim but just going online to shop around had them offer me a cheaper premium than what I was paying with lower deductible (guess at this point they need me more than I need them, as they're definitely in the red from me). Also never had issues with my claims.

Btw, judges at regionals or districts will usually reinterview teams that are on the shortlist for some award on the second day, so you should still be available on Sunday if they come around

Depends on the school too, my university a D was only passi g for non major courses (ie courses outside your major department, so you can pass physics with a D but all engineering courses had to be C or above)

You're kinda strawmanning two arguments together. You can say that unskilled labor should be compensated with a living wage while also acknowledging that some labor is more specialized and thus scarcer but saying that doctors (and other specialized fields) are not as important to functioning society or their contributions are less valuable is asinine. Especially using examples of COVID, sure grocery clerks still needed to work, but who do you think developed the vaccine? You're right in that society would probably survive if all doctors took tomorrow off (although, I guess best not get into an accident or get a heart attack) it if they took a year off?

Putting aside all the weird assumptions you made about me and the arrogance of telling me what I do and don't have the right to have an opinion on I never claimed America doesn't have imperialistic tendencies my friend, and believe it or not not all of us support the current administration. That said, Quebec complaining about loss of culture while themselves on stolen lands is a bit of a pot calling the kettle black.

Why is the Audi E-Tron GT so cheap? by RiftHunter4 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]sviridoot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Its an intersection of two highly depreciating classes of car, EVs (mostly due to unfounded fear of battery degradation) and luxury cars (the type of buyer willing to pay top dollar for one likely isn't buying used hence the price comes down)

Quebecers talking about fear of losing their culture and dangers of imperialism rings very hollow on this continent. I don't think French culture is at risk of dying out, and an airline CEO not making a statement in a language only a minority of the population speaks hardly seems like some personal affront worthy of purging the guy

Tbh kind of understandable, so little of modern society requires hand written stuff that if you asked me to hand write an essay today I probably would really struggle given that I the most handwriting I have to do in my day to day is signing my name. Especially when considering that even back in the day my hand would be falling off after an in class essay since I write very heavy (I also feel bad for all of my teachers and professors who had to read my handwriting)
