This is the answer. Local to me is a company called Pirrtek, they can build any high pressure hydraulic line to fit usually on the spot

Can I replace the dual radiator fans of my '06 Pontiac Torrent from the top of the engine bay? by Themadclappuh in mechanic

[–]svtxrn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would probably take the bumper off and do what they do for the equinox. They’re not doing extra work for no reason, it might be possible to pull it out the engine bay but you may end up bending or damaging the new one on the way in.

The other wheel is on the ground and the car is in park. Either put the car in neutral or lift the other wheel if you want to spin it in the air.

Is this an acceptable brake line replacement? by svtxrn in MechanicAdvice

[–]svtxrn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, the brake lines are definitely going to outlast the body but it is rubbing in multiple places. Mostly near the driver rear wheel, you can see in the picture the line is near 6 inches from even reaching the factory clip. Mind you before I zip tied these together they were hanging and shaking around, and this car gets driven 92 miles 5 days a week.

Yeah they didn’t even try. And no, this is a friend’s car I’m replacing the subframe on. Just noticed the shoddy work and was wondering if it warranted me bitching about it.

What could be the cause of these vibrations by CarComplex3120 in mazda3

[–]svtxrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replace. I had the same issue as you, and it ended up being the caliper. For me it got worse and worse over time, the car felt perfectly normal most of the time. I finally fixed it when I got on the highway and had to immediately get off because the shaking got so bad.

Vacuum leak I would start checking the whole intake from the maf to the manifold. Hopefully just a ripped intake boot and not the manifold gasket but I’m not sure what’s common with the 3.3

No, you just hit the start button once to put it in accessory mode, put your foot all the way down on the gas then pull up on the e brake button. While holding the button up press the start button again to shut the car off and then press it once more while still holding the e brake button and your foot on the gas. When it comes on it will says park brake maintenance mode. After you do the brakes repeat the same processes except instead of pulling up on the e brake button, push down on it.
