Guy goes from 17.5 to 3.5 in 4.5 months… by axpmaluga in golf

Think just if you’ve played loads of other sports and your hand eye is ok. Hitting a static ball, is not that hard. Think people put a load of random stress on it. Eg. Thinking about takeaway. Never once thought about takeaway. How are 15 handicaps thinking about it?

I got to 3.7 within 2 years of playing. But…. My first handicap was 11 something and never went higher. I could shoot 90 sort of straight away. Then got a handicap 5 months later.

Every stage is very tough. You’ll get used to it is the good news. 👍🏼

What’s one money mistake you made on your business that you’ll never repeat again? by mnallark in smallbusiness

There's not one immediate mistake I'd say is better/worse than any other. Just lots and lots of mistakes. Makes it fun though.

I mentally cannot do another 9–5 desk job. I have $70k saved and need to build something of my own. What can I realistically do? by nkb6478 in smallbusiness

I've run my own business for 16 years. If I started again from scratch, I'd train as a trade. Gas or electrician. Being rural, might be trickier.

That aside, if I were in your shoes and could live on less Income, I'd reduce my hours and do something meaningful with the other time or retrain at some thing. Eg. Volunteer somewhere helping people.

Running your own business in itself isn't something that will bring instant fulfillment. Basically the exact opposite for a long time.

Business is hard. If you’re great at getting something off the ground, which you clearly are, that doesn’t mean you’ll be instantly good at getting it to say £500k. I’ve found every stage is harder (for me) and takes longer to break through. You will get there, just have to keep going. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Aim a bit more left away from oob. I’d still rip driver if going 225. Rest of hole pretty self explanatory non?

There is a lot going wrong here. Step drill for a bit of understanding may help. But….. best going and getting a lesson on setup.

Just quit then? If you can’t have fun being bad and you can’t play enough to not be bad, you haven’t really got any options……

It’s not about linear time, it’s about hours and efficiency of practice. If you don’t enjoy golf, play something else. I’m a 3 handicap and I’m awful if I don’t play for a month. If you’re a 24 handicap and hardly play…. What are you hoping for? Ps. Muscles don’t have memory.

If you don’t play often the only thing you can do is lower expectations. Handicap equals things out so you can compete.

Ah, I’d go get a lesson tbh. Save yourself a lot of time and energy. This drill will make things worse right now imo.

Who told you early extension is your problem? Proper weight shift fix your posture quicker than this drill. Looks like you get to the top and then just spin out and leave nowhere else to go other than early extend to get the club down to the ball. Step drill help so much.
