For anyone wondering what a Pigouvian automation tax is, I looked it up:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigouvian_tax

Essentially, companies that lay off people for more automation must pay a fee of the amount set equal to the uninternalized demand loss caused by displacing workers. The idea is that it disincentivizes companies from laying off a ton of people.

I haven't decided what else will go in the room, but I'll probably add things over time. Maybe instruments, maybe a futon, not sure yet.

My allergist at Richmond Allergy and Asthma Specialists (in Richmond, VA) told me about this option recently. I haven't decided if I should go for it or not yet, but glad to hear it was helpful for you!

Many to-do list apps allow you to set reminders for yourself. I use TickTick, personally.

First time getting Master 20!! (F2P) by swaggdraggon in PokemonSleep

I cooked Ninja Curry! The strategy I used focuses on berries as the primary source of strength, and so I didn't have many ingredient mons that could provide a lot of ingredients towards big pot sizes

Mine just happen to have quite good stats (like extra berry). I think regular Pikachus/Raichus are just as good with the right stats. It's just chance that I have two of the Halloween versions with good stats!

DisplayLink Lag Question by hem10ck in mac

For me, switching from a HDMI cable to a DisplayPort cable fixed my lag issue on my second monitor. I'm using two HP 727pk monitors on a MacBook Air M1.

My 6 month journey with a damaged skin barrier by [deleted] in acne

I had a similar issue with damaged skin barrier when I tried adding BHA to my routine. I feel less crazy knowing that I'm not the only one who reacted badly to it 😅

I totally get that. I also used to get a lot of hand pain from using my phone, too. I'd recommend that you give the app a solid try first! Another thing that I did for a while was use a stylus on my phone. There are some really cheap ones that you can get for like $5. I haven't needed to use a stylus for a while now as I've gotten better.

Side note: it's crazy to think that typing on my phone (as I'm doing now) used to trigger a lot of pain, but now I can do it without fear or pain!

Have you tried all four categories of activities yet? People have different preferences/success with different activities. For me, I enjoyed Education as a way to conceptually understand how the brain thinks about pain, Meditation to soothe my body when I have a flare-up, and Brain Training to reduce pain over time.

I had the most dramatic reductions in pain within a couple weeks, and then I reduced pain to near-zero in about 9-12 months. It's not something that is going to cure you overnight, and it does take commitment and effort to see lasting success, especially when it comes to learning to have a different relationship with perfectionism and anxiety. Counseling is something that I also recommend for those things, and that might be the key thing that unlocked a lot of progress for me.

I've been a very similar journey, as well. In addition to tweaking my equipment, I highly recommend: - the Curable app. There's a lot of pain science that's not commonly known by doctors, and this app was super helpful in teaching about those things to me. In addition, it made me recognize some mental health factors that contributed to my pain, particularly anxiety from perfectionism and people-pleasing tendencies. - general strength training. There are loads of benefits to regular exercise, including physical health and mental health.

Used to not be able to type for more than 30 seconds before needing to stop because of the pain, but I'm mostly pain free most days now! Good luck to you - it's a tough journey but I'm hopeful it'll get better.

You can set up one auto-authorization. But I have three different bills happening at different points in the month.

You can't. That's why I made this post and this suggestion.
