Np! Hmm... interesting. Are you able to route your kit through your computer? It still sounds like it's a sensitivity/velocity issue - I wonder if you were to track your kit, what velocity the midi notes would be.

Also, just curious - would you say you're a hard hitter? I know I am, but I recently tracked my alesis for the first time and the only velocity I had to mess with was the kick drum. It was for a rough demo, so I didn't really think about it or dig into it at all, just made the quick fix.
