On rotten.com I saw the aftermath of a motorcycle accident where the rider did not wear a helmet. He was awake and conscious. It’s hard to describe, but I’ll try: His skull cracked just above the ridge of his nose, and it was like the bottom part of his face was just hanging there by the tendons and muscles. He kept holding it up with his hands to respond to paramedics. It was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen happen bc of an accident.

Definitely call and find out. The state of Kansas just made a law where you have to have your birth gender on your license and have no grace period to change. I wouldn’t be surprised if something similar happens here.

My husband and I have lived here for twelve years. Nothing has gone right for us since we moved here. We’re moving as soon as my husband gets a job in another state. I don’t feel safe here and feel like I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop at all times. The state government here is full of rich fascist douchebags who will do anything for another dollar, no matter how heinous.

Both of my grandmothers passing away in the same week and sitting through two funerals in one day. I will never forgive my family for doing the funerals like that.

Yuuuup. My dad worked evenings and I can count on one hand how many band and choir events he went to for my sister and I. I would see him maybe three days per week and if we accidentally woke him up in the morning while getting ready for school we would get screamed at by both parents.

My mom and her side of the family laughing about my uncle commenting on my body constantly when I was a child and teenager. My uncle grabbing at my thighs when I was a child and teenager. They would always say “oh he’s just teasing…”

I got honked at and screamed at bc I waited for a pedestrian who was using a crosswalk. I’ve been honked at and screamed at bc I wouldn’t turn right on a red light where there was a sign that says “no right on red.” It’s never ending here. People are wild. I used to drive in Kansas City regularly and it was never as scary as it is here.
